This book reads like a cuttingly sarcastic gossip columnist’s memoir, but is a must read for NFL fans for the way it pulls back the curtain on a fairly secretive league and ownership circle. Leibovich can be somewhat cruel at times, but we forgive him as the victims of his wit are more often than not witless billionaires and himself.

The narrator is very good, but sounds significantly different from the younger author, which does give a false impression of his persona.
