An enjoyable story, but the characters are what really set it apart. I’m normally a plot driven reader, but this story offered a unique experience with a couple of characters who I found myself actually caring about. While I was not fully immersed throughout the entire thing, it was more than made up for in parts that inspired deeply introspective contemplation of the human condition, the different lives and perspectives unique to all of us. This is a story that I will not soon forget.
