I just finished reading Elizabeth Engstrom's "When Darkness Loves Us" and really enjoyed it, so I wanted to try another, but there isn't much by this author on Audible, so this was what I went with. I have to admit something: I'm just not interested in vampires. Not at all. Horror is my favorite genre, and to not like vampires is a bit weird I know. That being said, this story sounded great, even though vampire. I would have given it 5 stars if it was more my cup of tea. The writing was amazing. Very well done. I don't regret reading it. I'd recommend this book to all you vampire lovers .
