Armed with humor, grit, and a backpack named Little Agnus, Lockhart tackles emotional and physical obstacles, shares adventures with pilgrims from all over the world, mothers traveling teens, endures blisters and bicycle seats, and embraces the glory of Mother Nature and the intrinsic spirituality of peregrination. She finds herself transcending from a human being on a spiritual quest to a spiritual being on a human quest.

From A Fellow Peregrina
I have walked three caminos and loved each one. This book sounds true to my own experiences. I didn’t stay in any paradors but plan to next Camino. There are many interactions similar to mine. Meeting pilgrims and spending time in albergues and pubs all were very interesting. I made friends who I’ve kept in touch with since my travels. And like Codie, I discovered that the villages all offer different surprises. You can’t go wrong listening to this book. The author offers her own demons which she tries to deal with along the many paths under a blanket of stars.

Great journey!
Really enjoyed listening to this and am sad it is over but looking forward to doing it myself now!! What an adventure.

beautifully told
I loved listening to CW Lockhart tell her story of her first camino experience. As a wannabepeligrino I soaked up all the tales of walking the Francis way through my ear buds while pushing myself to start walking out doors regularly. Im preparing while walking with her. CWL has a magical ability to paint distinct pictures with her words, but not so much that we drown in the descriptions. I appreciate that.
This is my third camino audible book and I've loved listening to the uniqueness of each one. I keep wondering how there could be another story out there to top these. each one has kept me intrigued. Perhaps my own? Thank you CW Lockhart for sharing your peregrino journey.
