Blips on the Way to Oblivion celebrates an odyssey of eternal love. It is about a couple who find themselves over the centuries in different countries in different lives, only to fall crushingly in love once again.
Their love is a deep love. No cheap kisses or serial romance for them. Oil derrick love, the kind that forces you to explore before you can hit pay dirt, then forces you to dig deep to bring up the black gold of true, abiding love. They say, when exploring for oil, to look for salt, to look for arid, weathered land, to sort through layers of sediment, and then to look for more salt.
Listen and begin to dig, go well below the surface, go deep, and deeper yet. Go through the rocky crust, the salt, the sediment until you reach story gold, the black gold of true love found in that ancient not so dead sea below, and let it gush, taking you upward through the earth to the stars and beyond, where love has propelled me enough times to tell the tale.
