À propos de cet audio
A Necromancer on the run. Tyron Steelarm, accompanied by the spirit of his mentor and friend, Dove, is desperate to realise his potential and change his destiny. To achieve his aims, he must outwit and outrun the marshals who seek to track him down, and the slayers who want him dead.
Worst of all, his own parents, renowned heroes of the realm, have been tasked with bringing him to justice. For how long will they be able to delay fulfilling this cruel order, and what will happen when they run out of time? All Tyron can do is run, and fight.
Book 2 of the next hit LitRPG series from RinoZ, the author of Chrysalis. Book of the Dead takes on all aspects of Necromancy headfirst, from the tactical manuevering of skeletons, to what it's like spending so much time amongst the undead.
©2023 Aethon Books (P)2023 Aethon AudioThe first book cut off abruptly. I feel like the second had a much more satisfying ending. Looking forward to a third!
A great end to a second book

Everything about this series

The quality of this book is high and with no added fluff--every hour of this book is the meat and potatos of what you really want to hear (/read).
The character growth is phenomenal as well. But more than just whats offered in this book, the tragectory of the MCs character growth for the next book is perhaps whats most exciting to me.
You can tell this author knows exactly what he's doing with his characters--everything from the overarching story to the more immediate book-by-book arcs, to character growth arcs as well the powers hes slowly gaining, to the specific setup, lore and principles by which the world they live in opporates. This is an author you can trust to give you good pay offs and not waste your time with filler.
one small critique. The way things happened around the end was a bit unexpected for me. Because of the way he was saved from his circumstance, it almost felt like the MC was robbed of the opportunity to avenge himself and proove himself different from the views some of the antagonists in particular held toward Tyron Steelarm. That said, this isn't necessarily bad, I think if the MC acknowledges this in the next book and vocalizes a desire to not find himself in the same situation again, then it could proove to be a key factor for motivating him (along with all the other potent motivating factors we see in this book)
I highly recommend the credit for this book. You will be satistied, the author did such a good job with both books 1 & 2 of this series that I'm at the point were I trust in this author like I do Will Wight (aka: Author of the Cradle Series)
As for the Narrator: All his voices are distinct, consistent, and well executed, offering smooth emersion that will have you sinking into the world and characters of this book in no time.
To the Author and Narrator, Thank you.
Well done
