Love all stories about dyeing and textile, specially when they are Biblical. I find Tessa's book to be absolutely interesting and touching.

The story and the performance were great, even though the story is set 2000 years ago the truth of the matter remains the same. I love it when good comes out on top of evil!

Ms. Afshar is a talented writer seamlessly weaving a story based on a real biblical character.

Such writing requires an extraordinary amount of research.

Her vocabulary, vivid descriptions, and balance of indirect description vs. incorporated dialogue is amazing.

I am a writer myself and rarely leave any comments for writers. I wanted to provide my encouragement to Ms. Afshar to keep up the good work! This story is worth a listen!

I love how Tessa Afshar brings so much life to characters who only have a few lines in the bible! This probably my favourite of her books. Great narration too.

Beautiful story

Too trite and repetitive. “It’s my fault”, “No, it’s my fault”, “I was so stupid”, “No, it was I that was stupid”, “I love you so much”, “But it is I that love you”.
The beginning went on so long with so much repetition, that it became annoying. Formulaic writing that was too easy to predict. When Paul finally comes into the story, it was short.
