(WARNING!!! The author of this story is prone to dropping stories partway through as the natural complexity of the universe and relationships begins to spike. The first two books were written years ago, and have both been published to audible already. In the last 8 months the author has only put out a handful of chapters with the latest being over 2 months ago, If you are looking for a series that is likely to have a complete story, this may not be for you. Check for yourself before buying!)

The combat writing, thought processes, world building, and underlying story are all good.

I'm not a huge fan of the "cultivation" genre, where you find a new "incredible treasure" on every page that usually ends up making no real difference to the main character, but this was a fun and engaging read that adds a lot of value to genre. I'll happily pick up the rest of they are this good.

give it a read! I wouldn't put it quite as high as DCC, but i would rate it higher than Azarinth, on par with Defiance of the Fall, and about equal with the first 4-5 books of HWFWM.

All in all a really solid book, that was fun to read. I hope the author writes more!!
