Get an interesting perspective of the Forgotten Realm hell planes. The first book scratches the surface of this potential so I am willing to give the 2nd book a chance.

1st book is good, not great, series has potential

the book was excellent! Dina Pearlmans performance was good. For the most part her voice fits perfectly although there are occasions where a retake is necessary. But it didn't bother me that much, she still managed to engrossed me in the story.

A great intro

The whole how is Farideh a warlock/patron pact thing is essentially a paragraph. Sister randomly summoned a demon...as a teenager. Then a couple spoken words between the cambion and Farideh and we have a pact.

Not sure I will continue to read, but I’m impressed someone got a book deal on a simple D&D backstory.
