Sebastian Devereux, the Duke of Montgomery, is one of the most controlled, cold, ambitious men in England, except when it comes to Annabelle Archer, a suffragette and one of only a few women attending Oxford University. This story is full of history, full of emotion, and full of great characters. Ms Dunmore's writing style keeps you turning the pages. Elizabeth Jasicki was an enjoyable narrator to listen to. Can't recommend enough.
