Description

They think they own me now. They think they’ve won and that I’ll be their good little soldier.

Four dangerous, damaged, messed-up boys. There used to be five, but one of them died, and I’m starting to suspect he was murdered.

I didn't ask for this. No one would ask to be played, manipulated, seduced, and betrayed. But that’s what happened, anyway.

It wasn’t enough for them to break me. Sebastian Beckett has decided that he can’t let me go, but I refuse to forgive and forget his betrayal so easily. His fixation is bordering on obsession, but when we begin to suspect a spy within Delta, there’s no time to deal with his feelings.

Someone is selling us out, and it’s having a dire impact.

It’s life and death hiding behind corporate greed.

Let the battle begin.

Please note: This dark contemporary romance features four sexy, dangerous boys but is not a reverse harem.

Broken Trust

First off I want to say what an amazing job that the narrators do for this book and series, they are just amazing.
I absolutely loved this story, even though at times I really wanted to smack Riley and tell her to grow up and talk to the guys. I enjoy the mystery and intrigue of this series and can't wait for the next one

Broken Trust for sure.

I was looking forward to this book - it was amazing and sinfully perfect, and the ending- why oh why?

stupidity did not get better

I cannot imagine a girl who is more unaware, incapable, & moronic. Almost made it hard to keep listening. Where is the growth?

Cheap & tawdry..

Every chapter had her, him or them behaving like ridiculous oversexed teens pretending to be adults in an attempt at the now forgotten Fifty Shads of Gray. It was laughable!! I kept waiting for the real dialog but constantly had to deal with all this utterly ridiculous over the top desperation for sexual gratification. I hung in there for Dillon and Kathrine..lol. Needed to see how their stories ended. The narrator did a good job,

aMAZING!

The story is wonderful. The book is very well written, with a breathtaking plot. Not everything is what it seems to be and trusting someone proves to belike a double-edged sword.. The author mixes elements such as corruption, power struggle, intrigue, romance to set the stage for this story. A fantastic book. It is very worthwhile to know this

Interesting story, short vocabulary

I really enjoy this story, I'm hoping the plot will follow through because so far it's an intriguing one. One thing that's driving me nuts--The massively overuse of the words "no inflection" following a line from someone. I'm talking at least ten times, try another way to word it or just leave it out.

Lost me.

I enjoyed the first book in this series and was looking forward to the rest. Sebastian is great, his character is right on point and it was great to hear his voice in this book. But in book two Riley’s character takes a nose dive. She is a bit of a bum eking idiot. Does so many stupid things she’s a bit like a Disney princess who uses the words fuck and cunt but is still waiting to be rescued after doing stupid shit.
The whole story took a sharp turn deeper into ‘Days if our lives’ tele novela territory. You can only have so much near death, near rape drama in the space of 12 hours before you just groan when the next one comes along.
The end was the final straw. I had already seen it coming but hoped it was misdirection on the authors part but to have incest confirmed at the end had me rolling my eyes so hard.
It is still entertaining I guess, the way that genre can be, but not worth what I’m paying for the audio version. I may skim read it for free as n my Kindle just to know how it ends but can’t bring myself to score it higher than I have.

Another clif hanger ending, but still soo good!

I loved the second book as much as I loved the first. There is so much action and danger, that I find myself needing to know what is next. I really really find myself wishing this was a true reverse harem, the guy characters are all soo steamy and you and feel the tension and potential between the main character and then, but the one main male character is soo dominating that you know it will never happen. But one can dream... cant they ;D

Overall: 5 , This book had everything I was looking for!
Fantasy: 0. Not a fantasy book, but it does take you into a different type of world. One of the rich and powerful that few people get a view into.
Romance: 5. Rough and HOT! This book turned more from passion and temptation into romance. You can feel the sexual tension between the two main characters, and even some between the main female and other guys.
Humor: 3. I didn't lough out loud, but I did find myself giggling and smiling a lot.
Narrator:5. THE BEST EVER! The male narrator made me want to melt. soo hot, and I loved how the male played the guys and female played the girls. it made the whole story soo much more believable. great casting!
Read the next book 5: Buying it now!
Action: 5. Drama and action! The action drew the characters in closer.
