Finished in two sittings...
This far exceeded my expectations. I cried several times, but also laughed a lot. I got this book with the intention of having something lighthearted to listen to, and while it had lighthearted moments, I learned a lot and felt a lot. Hearing about Benny brought back so much about my Huxley who was partner and soul mate, who I lost recently. It was definitely a therapeutic listen for me. Jackson Galaxy's wisdom and charisma shines through beautifully, as always.

Funny, raw, inspirational and genuine
This book is hilarious, feel good, inspiring, gut wrenching and raw. He’s a fantastic soul and amazing writer. I would recommend this book hands down to anyone who wants to hear a story of truth, brokenness, resiliency and survival (and loves animals)!

Recap in the last chapter, but please don’t skip the whole book.
Coming from the perspective of an artist, and lost soul, meeting a cat that challenges him and helps to change his life. I loved this book. I leave with a new respect for Jackson, and animals, and a better idea of what is going through my own cats head. My cat and me already have a great friendship, this book is going to help me make that even better.

One of the best books I've read/listened to EVER!
I expected this book to be good - I like the show "My Cat from Hell" & Jackson Galaxy is an appealing guy in general, but hearing his story, in his own words, with his own voice was magic. An amazing life story that I literally couldn't stop listening to until the very end.

Great To Learn More About Jackson Galaxy
I've been a fan of Jackson Galaxy for a long time, since shortly after my cat Dublin chose me & came to live with me. While I can't relate to Jackson's experiences with drugs or what seems like family estrangement or some other stuff, we do have one huge thing in common - cats entered both our lives & chose us to be their guardians & advocates, & our lives were forever changed because of it.
It was good to hear Jackson Galaxy narrate his book himself - when an author narrates his or her own autobiography, it adds something special to their tale, an added sense of what he or she wanted to share by writing their story. I could hear that in Jackson Galaxy's voice. It was also quite interesting to hear about his background aside from the bits I already knew.
Above all, his relationship with that one special cat was a blessing to hear about, & it touched me more than any other part of the story. I'm so glad that I bought this particular book & took the time to listen to it. It makes me appreciate my own cat & our relationship all that much more.

Excellent
I laughed and cried. Couldn’t stop listening! I wish his Cat Mojo book was also read by him because his voice is so captivating! Great story. Very inspirational!
