Celtan Empire: Invasion

The Kingdom of Kentra is the primary target of the largest Orc Horde in a century. As the monstrous legions tear into the northern reaches of the mightiest kingdom in the Celtan Isles, headed like a dagger for its heart, other forces are at work undermining the throne. Ancient scores will be settled, and there will come a reckoning for House Vickers, which has held the Dragon Throne for over 500 years.

Enter a small band of heroes who have arrived in the City of Kentra just as things begin to unravel. The members of this small band must overcome a great many obstacles, not the least of which is the distrust and outright hatred of members within their own group.

Exor’ÿll recognizes the skills that each member brings to the whole if he can only keep them from tearing each other apart before they realize their combined potential. Wizards work their magic, and an Elven king with a long memory enters the fray, as well. While the various pieces are brought into play in this huge game, only the gods know who will be left to pick up what’s left when the dust settles...and they are uncharacteristically silent.

This is the first volume in the Kentran Series which chronicles the rise of the Band of Eight and its colorful members as they forge a path to their destiny in the tumultuous events that led up to the creation of the first Celtan Empire.
