This book was amazing
Holy cow, the couple who read this book was fantastic. I loved listening to them. This story was amazing.

Great Series, Flawed Delivery
Aletha George was great, but Tristan James is terrible. His characterizations make no sense, he barely sounds like he’s doing more than reading the text, and his voice didn’t suit any of the male characters. Both authors also butchered the pronunciation of one of the main character’s names throughout the entire series, in different ways. So distracting and frustrating.
Super original magical system, fantastic writing style. I loved the first 5 books of this series, but the last book felt rushed, and left a ton of loose ends that really should have been wrapped up with this story line, not the next one. And one of the main characters and love interests felt like an after thought, and barely got any character development; which was super disappointing because he was the one I was most looking forward to.

I can’t even express my anger with out spoilers
I was so ready for some kick ass ending and was surely disappointed. I demand another book with extreme bad assery. I was so ready for some world changing type of stuff and all of the issues weren’t even resolved. I’m livid.

Aletha is great. Not a fan of Tristan's work
The narration is the only complain I have. LOVED the story and the work of the author, though. And yeah, I could just let it go, but choosing the right narrators is a big deal for an audio book and can make or break the experience. That's why I'm picky about the narrators. I really like Aletha's voice, though, and have listened to other novels that she's work on.
