Matthew, they thought, was just going through a phase of talking to himself. And, like many parents, they waited for him to get over it, but it started to get worse. Great book!
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Classic Wyndham sci-fi story with wonderful characters and story twists. The narrator did excellent job of bringing the story to life.

Blast from past
Kind of a blast from the past, very enjoyable listen, while social constructs have changed in the decades since this was written the ideas are still quite interesting

Great Combo!
Damian Lynch is one of my favourite narrators. John Wyndham is my favourite science fiction writer of his era. Put them together and you have a really enjoyable story that is delivered perfectly.
