À propos de cet audio

An interplanetary battle is renewed in an epic novel of a warring solar system by the author of Ballistic.

The war should have been over. But it’s not for a group of nationalists grabbing for control.

It’s been two weeks since a missile with a nuclear warhead tore through the planetary defenses in the most blistering large-scale attack ever committed in the history of the Gaia system. Commander Dunstan Park of the Rhodian navy has been handpicked to command an experimental cruiser that could dictate the course of the escalating conflict. All he has to do is keep the ship from falling into the wrong hands.

On Gretia, the powder keg is beyond control. A terrorist attack against civilians draws Idina Chaudhary into a costly battle. It also forces a cautious Aden Jansen back into the fray. Now dedicated to a just cause, he’s still keeping his past hidden. The risk of exposing his former alliance could twist not only his fate but also that of his sister, Solveig, heir to the family empire.

With no time to waste, Dunstan hits the ground running. But as insurgents threaten the unstable peace, what’s ahead for both sides could change the destiny of the Gaia system forever.

Ce que les critiques en disent

“A series you should start if you are a fan of grounded space opera with a military lean. The Palladium Wars comes at straight-up military fiction from an angle that keeps it interesting.” (Locus Magazine)

Another great series by Marko with the highly detailed sci-fi world as always. Book 1 was great with Luke Daniels. Book 2 took a bit to get used to the new narrator but after the first hour or so I was able to get past the change and get back to enjoying the story. This book the narrator just seems to be reading to children with his voice modulation and cadence. Going to struggle through due to the story and my hopes for the series over all, but I really hope they change the narrator. And to clarify the narrator is talented just wrong for this type of story.

Great book and series, but wrong narrator for it.

I loved Marko and his books. This series is no different. Fun, interesting, and a great blend of character and military sci-fi. I know they had to change narrators in the second book due to scheduling, which was fine. But they changed again for book three. While the narrator is well-spoken and does try to modulate his voice. Overall, for a fiction book though. He wasn't very exciting to listen to, nor did the modulation provide any real distinction between characters.

Another Great Book, the narrator is not the best

I HATE when authors do that. Last book finished with Aden and co. afraid for their lives on one planet with a way out, and they just went to another random planet, acted like nothing happened and just fell in the same goddamn trap.

Oh yeah what's with the narrators changing every book?!?

stupid tropes

Third book in the series and third narrator. Not good. Not good at all. Narrators even went from good to bad to worse. There are four storylines. I wish they were set by chapters so I could skip whole chapters to avoid the one storyline, which I don’t see yet how it contributes to the whole story

Another Narrator?
