Story is sweet , I like how the author shows how hard it can be to coming out going against what he was taught to believe . As a gay trans guy I see myself in him .

When I started book 1 of this duology, I was unsure if I would enjoy it due to the huge age gap and religion topics. But I was honestly pleasantly surprised. I ended up eating up the two books in less than two days. The story is sweet and there is a lot of emotions involved. The characters are endearing and more importantly, real. You'll fall for Ben and Kenzie and their chemistry.

It's my first books read by John Solo and I thought he did amazing. He's got a soft voice that is easy to listen to.

I couldn’t even make it half way through this book. Narrator was boring and the story dragged on. I’m not sure how to request a refund but this is the first time I’m seriously considering it. As I said…keep looking for some other book. This one’s not worth it.
