©2024 Nicole O. Salmon (P)2024 One AudiobooksI was being called out in the introduction and to be honest, just that alone will change your life. The author is raw and open sharing her own experiences with us and is never preachy but instead calls you back into the woman that God created you to be. Conviction with an authentic love that digs deep the way only the Holy Ghost can. This book is the self reflection and work that we all need. Come unbox with me.
If a book was a coach (that works).

This isn’t a surface-level encouragement book.
It’s deep, anchored, and honest. You can feel that Nicole isn’t writing from theory — she’s writing from lived experience, wisdom gained in the quiet, and a genuine reverence for the Father.
Her heart is on every page.
This book is a call — not to perform, not to strive — but to come forth.
Nicole speaks directly to women (and men) of the Father who sense they are meant for more, yet find themselves wrestling with fear, comfort, tradition, or the expectations of others. She gently but firmly invites the reader to trust Yahuah, to take steps even when clarity feels partial, and to learn how to discern the Father’s voice above the noise of validation.
One of the most powerful themes in this book is the reminder that purpose is not a destination — it’s a way of living. Purpose isn’t something you “arrive at” someday; it’s something you embody daily, even as it expresses itself differently in different seasons.
Nicole also doesn’t shy away from the harder truths — the ones many avoid.
She addresses the necessity of leaving behind:
traditions that no longer serve obedience
comfort zones that quietly hold us hostage
mindsets, behaviors, and environments that reward familiarity over faith
This book makes it clear: alignment often costs approval.
One line in particular stopped me in my tracks:
> “If praise is your indicator of progress, you may be in the wrong place.”
And another that followed it:
> “In this new place, we follow vision — not validation.”
That truth alone is worth sitting with.
Courage and Confidence speaks to those seasons where praise grows quiet, affirmation fades, and obedience feels lonely — not because you’re misaligned, but because you’re finally walking by vision. It reminds you that you must know what it feels like to move forward without applause, and still remain confident that you are exactly where the Father has called you to be.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to any woman or man who is questioning whether they’re headed in the right direction, or wondering how to access clarity without outsourcing their conviction to others.
This book doesn’t hype you up.
It anchors you.
It doesn’t tell you who to become.
It helps you remember who you already are — in Yahuah.
A truly meaningful read.
