I unfortunately found this book to be a bit repetitive and the smut was just very much over done, the book had great potential but the author focused to much on the smut other then the story line its self. don't get me wrong im all for a smutty book but I fell like it could have been better

I like a bit of sex or smut and love a good vampire story. This is so orgy focused the story gets lost. Having a hard time finishing.

Basically was one sexual encounter after another. I'm more looking for a storyline. I couldn't even finish the book

No plot

This storyline had great potential, however it was so smut-heavy that there was virtually no plot movement. The backstory on each of the characters made them loveable, but the journey of them overcoming their struggles was so effortless that it didn’t feel very deep. Even the plot conflicts were resolved effortlessly. If you’re looking for something spicy and don’t care about plot, this is probably it.

The audio performance: The male audio did not do it at all for me. I found it to be very expressionless and “factual”, as though he was reading an essay opposed to a book. It also drove me nuts how he would narrate Reve’s chapters in an American accent, then speak Reve’s lines in a Scottish (Irish?) accent, then return to the American accent. I feel like he has to either commit to the entire character chapter in an accent or not.

Overall this wasn’t my favourite.

Plot was almost non-existent

Storyline 10% sex and smut 90%.... Very hard to get through. It's almost hard to keep going. I'm like 2/3rds through and had to put it down multiple times. I've never not finished a book and I will finish this one but it's very difficult.

The story in itself is not that terrible but more than half of the book is just sex scenes. I’m all for a good smut story but the plot needs to have an important role. I found myself saying “jesss here we go again” and fast forwarding many chapters just to get to the story in itself.
The voice actors did a good job but again, I would have liked more of a balance and for the story in itself (which again was not terrible) to be developed.

Well…if you want more sex than plot…This is your book

If you love vampires, you love a good spicy story or should I say extra spicy, this is for you. How about one baby female vampire that loses her life but is given another chance and must join 7 elder vampires that execute vampires that goes against their own and that those 7 vampires are all hers to do has she pleased….then yes this is definitely for you.

you are definitely not going to listen to this book for the plot line. if you're into the smut then give it a go. The male narrator does an absolutely awful job and to be honest it would have been better if the female narrator just did the entire book because she was far more animated. I don't typically like a book narrated in that way but the male narrator was horrible.

If you want smut, you've found it. K.A Knight delivers again 🥵 only critique I'd give is the for the male narrator. when trying to voice as Reve, that accent was all over the place lol one sentence he's English, another one he's Scottish then mixing Australian in there 😅 either stick with one accent or just don't attempt one

I went into this book blind. I love this author, but I've never heard a fantasy of hers. This was included. Tor Thom and Stella Hunter are among my absolute favorite narrators, so I thought I'd try. I was not disappointed!

This is about a vampire that ends up with seven very complicated vampire mates. I don't want to give too much away and ruin the story. The narration is beyond brilliant. There are so many distinct characters, they are all interesting, wonderful, and completely perfect for each one. All the characters are lovable, so charming. K.A. writes amazing characters, spicy scenes, and emotions.

This wasn’t her very best book. I'd give it a 4.5🌟 4.5🌶.
If you like vampire fantasy, with a bit of monster, I would highly recommend. I definitely would give it a try regardless if you like spice.😏 You have nothing to lose with a subscription.
