Great book! very thorough overview of the history of reality TV. Many people would dismiss reality TV as "low brow" but something that has this big of cultural impact is definitely worth knowing about. Recommended

I couldn’t help but like the behind-the-scenes look into reality television. I say I am not a fan of it, yet I watch it. I would probably never admit to watching some shows that I have watched in fascination. This book gave me good reason to question how shows are edited, and that what I think I see isn’t real at all. Ironic terminology that! I enjoyed it.
