Ack! This book gutted me! I've become so damn invested in these characters and their relationship. I love this family they built and how her men totally support Mari. The cliffhanger in this one...I saw it coming, I thought I was prepared. I WAS NOT. I don't know how they are going to come back from this but I have to find out.

This book is chock full of secrets! Oh so many secrets and I loved it.. It's still intense, it's still complicated and these characters are burrowing into my soul. I couldn't put this one down.. it's explosive, it's thrilling, it's tender and violent. So many emotions went through the ringer with this one.

I'm falling in love with Mari, Gray, Dom & Nate and watching them come together as a unit and accepting the relationship that they have on all the levels was so satisfying. They compliment Mari so well and I adore how loyal they are to her and how much they just want to take care of her.

I didn't think that Mari could get any more fierce but I was wrong. She is such a powerhouse in this one, even when she is feeling low and tired and battle-weary...she keeps going, leaning on her men when she needs and showing all of Seattle why she is the Queen. I don't think I can love her anymore but I feel like there is still so much more that she is going to give us.

I just loved this series so much! I can't wait to read books 3 & 4.
