I find a lot of fated mates tropes repetitive and a lot of times annoying, but this was genuinely a good book. Both narrators were great but the male narrator was phenomenal and I would listen to a book just based off him reading it. So many times they make the female main character whiny but I loved how she was written, the characters were funny, there was a realistic slow burn as opposed to the usual fast and furious connection which was a nice change. To be honest I was going to have this book as something in the background while I painted but quickly got into it and popped my headphones in and gave it my full focus, I would definitely read something else from this author.
