I don’t know the pre-quel of this story and haven’t read the books of the Donovan family before Dane’s story. I do feel like it would help to read them. However. This was a cute weekend read. As always, Winston James does a great job. I will say I wasn’t a fan of when either performer read the French parts. As a native French speaker, it was cringe. Otherwise, overall a good read.
