The reader has done a very emotionless reading. It is a pastoral book and should have been read by the author or someone who knows how to talk in a reassuring tone. This feels like he could be reading a technical manual. I am surprised ChristianAudio didn’t know that a book on lament with such delicate subject matter needs to be read gently, with compassion, and even slowly. I am having a hard time listening to this…
