This was my third book from The Order of the Vampire. It was my least favourite. I still really enjoyed it and I feel like it built the world a lot. However, it followed SO MANY PEOPLE! It was following three main stories and those only came together in the second half so for the first half it was like 6 stories. Just a lot to take in. If I was reading that as a stand-alone I’d be overwhelmed. Once again Lydia transported me! This little world is just so enthralling. I can’t get enough. And who’s excited to meet the killer in the woods!!!!! The smut was minimal ish. I didn’t feel like this was as spicy as Immortal Bastard or Original Sin. So much is happening, they have no time for that. If you want a steamy plot thick vampire romance you need these! It’s just so good! I can’t wait to start the next book!
