The story was good, and I liked the characters a lot, but the writing wasn’t great; I doubt it was even edited for grammar. And the narration was terrible; tons of basic words were mispronounced. The one that kept distracting me was “sword”. The ‘w’ is silent. Considering that swords are a huge part of this book, it was seriously a problem.

I really wanted to like this.
