If you like the Sandman Slim novels this is like Sandman Slim light. It’s a fun book. I just wish they didn’t say “fook” so much.

Cute Deadtective Story

Dove does great voices. The overuse of FOOK, DUNZIE and OBSIDIAN were annoying; neat premise and a fun story but a little sloppy in parts. Short story bonus at the end was tighter and worked better, IMO.

Looking forward to more Dead Jack, though: he’s a great P.I.
