Description
From the bestselling author of The Butterfly Garden comes a suspenseful new series for the #MeToo era about vigilante justice, close friends, and getting away with murder.
Florida journalism undergrad Rebecca Sorley is like any other college student. She tries to keep up with her studies, her friends, and her hot-tempered roommate, Ellie, who regularly courts trouble with the law.
When a male student's remains are found in alligator-infested waters, the university warns students to stay away from the reptiles. But then a second body shows up, and the link is undeniable. Both men belonged to the same fraternity and had a reputation for preying on and hurting women.
Ellie has previously threatened to kill men who don't take no for an answer. Rebecca and her friends thought Ellie was kidding. But now a vigilante killer is roaming campus - someone who knows how to dispose of rapists. Someone determined to save female students from horrible crimes.
With each passing day, those who know Ellie become more convinced she's responsible. But if she is, stopping her might not be in everyone’s best interest....

Don’t buy
I cannot say one good thing about this book. The story was beyond predictable. It was a sad attempt at the Me Too movement. The southern accents are truly horrendous(I’m from the South so I know what they sound like). The girls relationships and over exaggeration of how “true friendships” work. It’s so bad. I’ve liked past work by this author but this just felt like a horrible miss.

Fantastic
I truly enjoy the way the story keeps you on your toes. The way you are drawn into the mind of the killings is awe inspiring.

The gator killer...
Great job from this new-to-me author! The story is told from 2 POVs...a vigilante killer and a female college junior. Someone has taken justice into her hands and is feeding rapists frat boys to the gators. Meanwhile, investigative journalist student, Rebecca, and her roommate are beginning to suspect one of their suite mates. When the scales of justice do nothing, the gators happily feed. One thing is for sure...the ending will surprise you.

man hating predictable garbage.
so I absolutely loved The Butterfly Garden. I have read all the collector series . Honestly... calling this garbage insults trash as a whole. The hate towards all men as a group of collective rapists and predators, is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. ohh except for the main character's cop crush. Just Don't bother wasting your time on the chance of a good read. it's like the author needs counseling not another best seller.

Female Dexter
Its obvious from the beginning who the killer is; but the story sucks you in and you forget until the end.

Love it!
This was a great story. It kept my attention the whole time, and while I thought I may have figured it out close to the end, I couldn't stop listening.

Great book
In the typical Dot Hutchison style, this book has a total unexpected conclusion. I love her characters, and how they develop throughout the book. It’s an excellent read and the narrator did a great job! I highly recommend this book and her other works.
