good but dated
like all sci-fi of this era it has some serious trouble writing female characters as anything other than simpering idiots. other than that, the story and concepts are solid.

Bova doesn't improve with age
The story was first published in 2015, but the technology several centuries on doesn't surpass the tech of 2015.

Not disappointed
After reading Farside and New Earth, the story continues back at home planet.
After discoveries in two previous books, the story slows down a bit. Still, I wasn't disappointed, as it prepares for the next round of space exploration..

great story
the story, in the long run, will b great. I've personally never been a fan of the politics, but it seemed almost necessary in this one. I look forward tothe rest of the series

Terrible characters, bland delivery.
I think I have two audio books I couldn't finish, this makes it the third. No characters has any depth, most are profoundly repulsive witouth feeling like a purposeful antagonist.
The same concept or idea is repeated 3 times in almost each conversation in
The narrator is clear, that is the best I can stay of this performance. I didn't feel any emotion or sens of being there or even told a story, just read a story.
Disappointing.
