LA private detective Kip Yardley is hired by an aging actress to find the remains of her husband, a WWII pilot shot down in the South Pacific. A few days later the actress is found dead, shot in the head. All Kip Yardley has to do is sign the contract to make it binding, and find the remains, to collect a quarter of a million dollars.

There are some influential parties who do not want Kip to succeed, some don't want him to even try! But when the pretty girls on tiny Kira Bali island won't play straight with Kip, that's a sure sign of trouble!

Kip thinks that the WWII pilot's remains and the death of the aging actress are somehow connected, he just doesn't have a clue as to how.

This third book in the Kip Yardley mystery series promises to be the best yet.
