I have listened to all of the books in this series and I think this is the one that elevates it from a really good mystery series to something more, something special. I marvelled at how Khan toyed with the timeline to create a level of suspense that was masterful and extremely entertaining. The characters are growing stronger with each book and the introspection in this book was hard to listen to at times because it was so real. The twists and turns were fantastic as well. Most of all, when I'm listening to these books I feel like I'm there, living the story with the characters. I just finished the book and my heart is still pounding. I can't wait for the next one.
