Great Stories, but division lacking

These are great abridged stories. One has to pay very rapt attention because there's no break between stories, except a short breath of the narrator about the same length as between sentences. All of a sudden you're into the next story without realizing the last one finished! I'm sure that could be rectified somehow. It needs some sort of break between the stories! I really enjoyed them though. Have read Marsh's books before and will read more for sure. One other thing - the story in chapter 11 was totally out of place, as a child's story about Christmas. I have no idea why that was included. and the last one a letter to a relative who wanted to be a writer was only helpful if you were thinking of being an author yourself. I'll stick to her mysteries! oh, and strangely, the narrator at the end of the book says her name is Nadia May, not Wanda mccaddon. ??
