The title of this book should have been "American Denialism". There was very little reference to the phenomenon anywhere outside the borders of the USA. What about the rest of the world? Or even just the Western World? Even if one reads this as an exclusively American book, there is very little critical analysis of why denialialism is rampant and deeply embedded in American culture. Could there be a problem in the American educational system? Have Americans always been denialists? What are its roots? Is it encouraged by Hollywood, Madison Avenue or political leaders? And why are Americans more prone to denialism than people in countries like Canada?

If this book had dug deeper into the roots of American denialism, there would have at least been some insights one could apply to other cultures.
