I am looking forward to hearing the authors other books, as this was the first of his work I've heard.

Why in the name of all things holy wouldn't someone correct the narrator's pronunciation of the word "IMPERATOR"??? I wanted to slam my head against a wall every time he used it. PAINFUL !! The rest of the story is fairly good, assuming you don't suffer OCD and fixate on that word. As for the author, there are many ways of responding in conversation besides " Reeves hit back". So far I've counted the use of this phrase in excess of 100 times. Invest in a thesaurus. A fun sci-fi romp, lots of action and space adventure.

Good narration,,, lot of characters to create individuality for. Competently done..
The pace kept it interesting,,, little heavy on the hand to hand combat, but,, overall,, enjoyable.
