À propos de cet audio
Jack Roberts is back from the Sudan and with a crippling wound, no longer an active soldier. When he is sent to Iran to help find oil for British battleships he has to leave home once more. This time he leaves a son who is about to embark on a military career too. The Roberts family is soon going to war again.
©2024 Griff Hosker (P)2025 W F Howes LtdIn the preceding novel in this "Soldier of the Queen" series; our hero Jack Roberts lost his arm and his career as a soldier appeared to be over. However, he has an exciting opportunity to lead troops back in the Arabian Peninsula to protect a company drilling for oil. The best part of the book is our introduction to his son who with the help of powerful military leaders gets into Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Griff Roberts modest background provides barriers but does not stop him from becoming a top student and officer. The novel ends with me wanting more. I can't wait until Book 5 comes out in Audio.
