This is not your usual British mystery- it's a globe trotting story with intrigue galore. Peter Lovesey has me hooked.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The narration was excellent! Many hints were given but I didn’t understand them until the final chapters. A wonderful character-Peter Diamond! I highly recommend this author. I’m off to find more books by this author!

Great mystery!

When I listened to the first book in this series, I did not like Peter Diamond much and wondered if I would continue with the series. I got that book and this one for free, so I decided to keep reading. I am glad I did because Peter is a more sympathetic hero in this book. The writer was wise to have his wife more evident. The mystery was interesting, too.
