If you’re at all interested in who Dr. Aphra is then this is the perfect crash course!

The audiobook/drama is a retelling of her introduction and escapades in the Vader comic series. In this version it’s done so through her perspective which is a riot and I’m sure it would help to keep the story fresh for anyone already familiar with it.

A full voice cast for the characters, excellent music and sound effects, did not disappoint!

I had never read any Dr Aphra comics but I knew that she was a popular character. After listening to this audio drama, I now understand that her popularity is well deserved. The cast was wonderful but the standout by far for me was Emily Woo Zeller who gives a powerhouse performance. She infuses Aphra with swagger and bravado but underneath it all, there is a touching sense of humanity. I highly recommend this drama if you are wanting to listen to a good, fun Star Wars adventure.

Amazingly well performed, full-cast + dramatized StarWars awesomeness. Tonnes of laughs & heart felt moments. Dr. Aphra’s one of my favourite SW chars ❤️

Only problem is weird casting for already known characters like Han and Leia. They didn't sound right and it did take me out of the book occasionally, but all the new characters (and Vader, who is super prominent) have absolutely great voice acting! Even the others were alright, they just sound too different.

Story was excellent. I already love Aphra thanks to her comics and I already read the comics this is based on, but this audiobook added quite a lot more than I expected, and the additions are great!

I also really enjoyed the way the book is presented as an actual recording by the character Aphra, as if this audiobook is a recording from the character herself.

Overall, absolutely great aside from some smaller cameo characters sounding pretty far off.

from start to finish this story had my full attention. by the end I was surprised it was over as I hadn't noticed the time. if you are into radio dramas and Star Wars you will love this.

Great audiobook, only problem was that it was too short and left me wanting more!
I’d heard of the characters before, but didn’t really know anything about Aphra or her droid companions, as it turns out, they’re excellent! And Tiple 0 had got to be my new favourite droid!

It is a decent story, but great performance. Love all the side character; just don't care for the main character/narrated of the story. The voice actor amazing. Just the character doesn't tickle my fancy.
