With the Dragon Emperor Series I'm always finished listening to the lastest edition within 1-3 day(s) of obtaining it (Same with The Summoner Series)

But Latly the storyline of the past few books has become predictable... New City, Explore and find how the green glass Sec is meddling, and Evan Gets a new Women.

Although I Still loved listening to the books I find without the Celestial Triad or Mariah's Trial the premise of the last few books have been carbon copies.
I really like this book changing it up a bit with 3 cities in the Peninsula but the premise again was,
"New Cities, Explore and find how the green glass Sec is meddling, and Evan Gets a new Women."

But at least we were reminded how Evil the GGS is and y we want Oliviér tortured and dead!
A book is only as good as its Villian, right?
