“Lyrical writing and compelling characters...Koontz stands alone.”—Associated Press

“Perhaps more than any other author, Koontz writes fiction perfectly suited to the mood of America...novels that acknowledge the reality and tenacity of evil but also the power of good...[and that] entertain vastly as they uplift.”—Publishers Weekly

Oh my goodness! I really loved the way the character of the dog is written. Only someone who knows and loves dogs could have done it this way. I kept reaching out to my dog and looking into his eyes and thinking how perfect Woofer was.

Great story

Incredible imagination by Dean Koontz. The narrator was fabulous, switched into different accent, dialogues and especially that a dog.
Could not wait to figure out how they were gonna get this maniacal, horrible, dangerous, Evil man.

Edge of your seat.
