Description
In 1914, the First World War ignited a brutal conflict in North America, with the United States finally defeating the Confederate States. In 1917, the Great War ended and an era of simmering hatred began, fueled by the despotism of a few and the sacrifice of many. Now it's 1942. In Richmond, Confederate president and dictator Jake Featherston is shocked by what his own aircraft have done in Philadelphia - killing US president Al Smith in a barrage of bombs. Featherston presses ahead with a secret plan carried out on the dusty plains of Texas, where a so-called detention camp hides a far more evil purpose.

Good story but a few mistakes by an otherwise good narrator
His southern drawls were impressive but hearing him mispronounce Laura Secord’s surname irritated my Canadian ears. There were a few other names from the last audiobook whose pronunciation he switched; not a big deal just irritating. Overall a good narrator.

Paul Constanzo sucks
Paul should not have been selected as a narrator. I cannot stress enough as how he butchers names of characters and cities.
His accents of characters are next to non-existent and makes listening very hard. It is very much all monotone and very full.
Constanzo’s performance is huge disservice to this book. Please bring George Guidall back.
