Lucas used to delve dungeons. Now, he has to run one.

After Lucas dies during a freak explosion, divine intervention sees him brought back to life with the power to control a new dungeon.

There are just a couple of issues: his old body is bound to his dungeon, and the craziness of what he thought was his final act is only getting weirder. When he sees newbie adventurers entering his dungeon, though, he decides to help them survive and complete their quests.

After all, adventuring is a process, and someone needs to guide the rookies.

I can easily see this as a 10+ book series, endless possibilities await our beloved Dungeon Core.

From the title and book description, i was expecting to laugh and enjoy the story, but no. Why is there so much fighting scene agaisnt snake? Wtf. The MC is so serious and boring all the time.

This book manages to perfectly showcase idealism as a character flaw without being self aware enough to acknowledge it. For example mulling over the morality of killing six of the maniacs who are actively trying to torture and kill civilians in a world where healers can not only revive the dead but miracle heal wounds feels silly. It was only an issue in the most tense moments but emotionally prioritizing the lives of what amounts to mass murders over the civilians that they are trying to murder in an active warzone the absurdity of it broke immersion a bit. Then not a minute rebuking his friends in his head he kills some of them himself.
