A well-respected child development specialist, Stephen Greenspan outlines his "ABC Theory of Discipline". Greenspan suggests that, using his matrix, caregivers can provide the warmth, tolerance, and influence that will help children become competent in three socio-emotional domains - happiness, boldness, and niceness.
