Empires of EVE: A History of the Great Wars of EVE Online is the incredible true story of the dictators and governments that have risen to power within the real virtual world of EVE Online.
Since 2003, this sci-fi virtual world has been ruled by player-led governments commanding tens of thousands of real people. The conflict and struggle for power between these diverse governments has led to wars, espionage, and battles fought by thousands of people from nations all over the world. There have been climactic last stands, wars for honor and revenge, and spies who caused more damage than a fleet of warships.
Empires of EVE is the history of how political ideas first began to take hold in EVE Online, how that led to the creation of the first governments and political icons, and how those governments eventually collapsed into a state of total war from 2007-2009.

Great
I've never played the game and went in with no idea what Eve is, this is a great history/summary! Very detailed, great narration, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Hope to see more from this writer!

Just absolutely outstanding!
This is just so well done and worth multiple listens as just so much work put into it ! I absolutely love listening to it while Gate Keep the entrances to Thera ! Hearing the names of some of these “famous” and “infamous” and then Zkill their stats and comparing them to my own !!
Amazing work ! I heard there’s a second one and HOPE it comes to Audible or another audio book and is read by the author again ! 10/10

Very good book!
I really enjoyed listening to this book and found the stories very interessting. The author did a great job putting context to the different conflicts and detailing the series of event so that it is understandable. The narrator was also good. I recommend this book to people that like Eve Online or are interested to see how a video game can become truly epic just by the actions of people.
