I honestly really like this book. The narrator why is super calming. If you enjoy her youtube videos and the sound of her voice, you will enjoy this book. I think overall, it's kind of a mix between a Of a biography/diary entry. I think that the writer really did try to give you an understanding of how her mind works. And I, for one, really appreciate that as someone who struggles with anxiety.. I think that overall. I will be purchasing the hard cover. I really hope people give this book of chance. The author does acknowledge that they were going through spell of depression. And I think that's so important for people who struggle with anxiety and depression.

This book is written for people who know and enjoy Lydia Millen's Content. FULL STOP.

If you don't enjoy the niche her content lives within, then this book will be no different. I personally watch her vlogs and find them entertaining. It is a small window into the high-end life of the English countryside and that's exactly what she is delivering.

This book is an extension of that. Most of the stories and lessons she has learned through her career are things she's been talking about and sharing with us on her vlogs for a while now. It isn't anything new or revolutionary - Just all those thoughts collected into one book.

Lydia Millen has created a successful and beautiful career within the luxury/fashion industry. She is a fascinating character and went through a huge transition regarding the kind of brands she wanted to work with and promote, the kind of content she wanted to create and the things she valued the most.

If you are coming to this book seeking life coaching, therapist wisdom or revolutionary thinking. You are in the wrong book. However, if you are coming to this from an 'I want to support a creator I enjoy and get to know her better through this' then you are at the right place. I listened to the audiobook so it was really special to hear the stories and experiences from her own lips - Is she a writer? No. Did I still enjoy this? Absolutely.
