À propos de cet audio

In Everyone is a Consultant, renowned relationship strategist and speech-language pathologist, Dr. Dorothy Leone, reveals a bold truth: whether you're a coach, entrepreneur, healer, executive, or just someone trying to influence change—you are already a consultant. And the most effective consultants don't sell ideas; they build trust, one authentic relationship at a time.

This transformative book redefines the way we engage with clients, but it can also inform our work with colleagues and collaborators. Through decades of experience and powerful human insight, Dr. Leone teaches the lost art of listening, not as a passive act but as a master skill that opens doors to empathy, understanding, and long-term loyalty. With warmth and wisdom, she unpacks how to build personal rapport in professional settings—turning every conversation into an opportunity to earn trust, uncover needs, and deepen human connection.

If you want to build a business rooted in integrity and lasting impact, this book will guide you there. Because in the end, people don’t buy services—they buy relationships. And when the relationship is personal, the results are powerful.

Dr. Leone is an accomplished consultant, educator, and researcher in communication sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University with a deep commitment to improving practices for neurodivergent individuals. Her consulting work spans a range of educational settings.

Prior to her consulting career, Dr. Leone was employed by the NYC Department of Education, working within an inclusive program for children with autism, and later transitioned into a faculty role at Iona University. In her ongoing role as a consultant, Dr. Leone's work reflects a passion for building supportive, inclusive systems that empower.

She is married and is a mom to 3 amazing children. She enjoys cooking, playing pickleball, and getting cozy with a good book.
