Description
In this study we examine Jesus' last words to his disciples, in which he outlined the duties involved in making disciples and retaining those disciples. In our effort to examine these passages found in Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18, and Luke 24:44-49, we focus on Matthew's account and break that into sections. These passages have been dubbed the Great Commission. The various sections are examined and then put together.
We look at the early disciples as a direct result of the apostles' preaching and executing the chores as outlined in Matthew's account of the Great Commission. In looking back at what the apostles and the early disciples did in Acts, we are able to understand why they did things the way they did and how both apostles and the early disciples submitted to God's will and were used to accomplish God's purposes. In the study, we conclude that without the Great Commission we cannot source our authority to make disciples or save souls. We further conclude that within the Great Commission or in executing the Great Commission we fail to make disciples or save souls if we pick and choose which part or parts of the charge to follow.

Best guide on how to be a Christian that I own.
It takes me a long time to pick a new book and I figured out I was my own enemy. This time I let the holy spirit pick my next book. This is the book he selected. I did not understand the title at first glance and started having second thoughts but I trusted him.
All I can say is, when I gift a Christian book to someone this will be it. I will be thanking God for the blessing he enabled this author to share Gods Glory in a way that helps explain parts of the Bible that I read and did not catch until now. I love those aa-haw moments.
When I learn a new aa-haw moment I like to share it with the next person I run into and people tend to be wow I did not know that. This author is taking right from the Bible and pushing it into the big picture which can help with talking to others about God.
Thank you God! You knew what I needed before I did and my mind is saying time to listen again.
