Excellent Read
Very detailed. I found it amazing that back in the 1700's they already have Options contracts, Put's and Calls; THe history of how the words came to be, both in French and English, that investors use today.
The frenzied, and irrational exuberance of markets along the manipulations are exactly the same; as much as the future of market drops.
I found the book extremely enlightening, in particular the "Confusion de Confusiones" section.

close to the originals
the story is hard to follow, the language and narration is formal (I guess in an attempt to keep to.the original format) but it makes the content very hard to digest and bring together.
As a meta audio book, I would have appreciated and expected some hand-holding and synthesis between the different books and even between the chapters.
