À propos de cet audio

A smart, funny, and refreshingly candid memoir from Mark Hoppus, the vocalist, bassist, and founding member of pop-punk band blink-182. Narrated in his own voice, the audiobook offers an intimate and immersive experience that fans won’t want to miss.

This is the story of an angst-filled kid from the desert, navigating the chaos of his parents' bitter divorce and searching for his place in the world. Each move across the country was a chance to reinvent himself, switching identities from dork to goth to skate punk, and eventually meeting his best friend who just so happens to be his musical soulmate.

With sharp humor and raw honesty, Fahrenheit-182 takes readers through Mark's formative years as a latchkey kid in the 1980s, hooked on punk rock, skateboards, and MTV. Along the way, Mark reflects on his lifelong battle with anxiety, his celebrated career with blink-182, and his public fight with cancer, in a voice that’s both relatable and unmistakably his own.

Threaded with heartfelt grit, Fahrenheit-182 is more than just a memoir for blink-182 fans. It’s a funny, smart, and deeply human story for anyone who’s struggled, reinvented themselves, wanted to quit but kept going.

Blink fan my whole life, listening to his voice, his stories, felt like we are sitting in a coffee shop or bar having a pint and a chat. Loved every second of it, loved the little bits of humour along the way and the honesty of how he felt along his amazing career.

Classic Mark Hoppus being a legend.

Thank you Mark. I feel like I know him and am better for it. I wish I could justify listening again right away. I will again one day.

I didn’t want it to end

I have been a blink 182 fan since I was 14 years old. I even got to be one of the lucky kids mentioned in the book that convinced unsuspecting adults in my life (adult siblings) to take me to Edge fest to see blink in TO. (they thought our mom would kill them when profanity engulfed flames lit up the stage haha) I introduced my Kids to blink as soon as I figured they were old enough & they are part of the new generationof blink 182 fans.. I knew some of the bands lore, but this inside perspective from Mark was like sitting down with someone you've known forever, but just didnt have quite the full story. I really love that Mark does the audio himself. Mark has always had a great story telling voice & he puts it to good use in reading his memoir. Thank you for sharing all your lifes ups & downs with us & reminding us all that if we stop & consider our lives, 1 in a million happens more often than you think.

Profoundly candid & inspiring

This memoir gave me everything I could have asked for. It was funny, it was sad, it was blink, it was conflict and it was resolve. Mark is a phenomenal storyteller, and I couldn't recommend this one enough to anyone that has interest in Mark or the blink saga.

The story I've been waiting for.

I grew up listening to band, it was the sound track to my life for many years and after listening to Travis Barkers book I couldn’t wait for this one. It did not disappoint. I only wish it was longer, I couldn’t get enough.

Insightful, humorous, nostalgic
