When her elderly patients start dying at home days after minor surgery, anesthesiologist Dr. Kate Downey wants to know why. … with enough characters not to be able to predict the “who done it” too early. Sometimes it seems like we get bombarded by far more characters than necessary and it becomes an issue in listening as opposed to reading books.

The narrator is a good story teller and the characters voices remained fairly distinctive. I have already purchased the second book in this series. It’s always nice to find a new author
