This was decent but underwhelming after the first one. I felt like the addition of gods was kind of random and confusing, and the time travel with her sister taking the mark off her finger with 'old magic' didn't really make any sense to me. We never really found out much about the bird and eggs. Whereas the plot of the first one felt really cohesive and directional, this felt like a whole bunch of random stuff mashed together.

I wish I could give 3.5 stars
